Dear Gentle Friends ~ 

This week's memory will linger for years to come... Under a perfect blue sky with an autumn crispness in the air, I headed out to pick up the special cake ordered to celebrate Soaring Hearts cards' first anniversary in Walgreens. 

Once in Whole Foods, my friend and I admired the aromatic, three-layer cake with lavish, chocolate buttercream frosting and little pink hearts.

When we arrived at the Apex Walgreens, we kept a low profile, sneaked to the back office, and opened the box just in time to surprise the store manager. She beamed with appreciation and delight!

I presented her with a Soaring Hearts Thank You card to express the privilege of sharing my inspirational cards in her store ... truly "A Gift from the Heart." (See message inside this card.)

Laughter, hugs, and a few pictures captured this milestone.
