Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17 NIV

Thank you, Jean, for sharing your thoughts. I love your posts, so many beautiful images/messages of nature's beauty. Now I have a better idea where your inspiration comes from! Living near Lake Michigan must be delightful for you. Thanks again for visiting with me today, friend.
Blessings,
Barbara
I find inspiration in nature. I am blessed to live within a mile of Lake Michigan, and I do some of my best writing near the beach. I love watching birds and wildlife, and their silent stories often inspire my blog posts.
Thanks, Cynthia! It's been such a delight to watch you grow in your "creative dance" with writing. Keep stepping to His tune.
All the best at the conference. Your stopping by blessed me today!
Blessings as you write,
Barbara
Barbara, I love your mention of the "dance of creativity." It is, indeed, a dance. Sometimes calm and orderly, sometimes wild and untamed.
Having only recently joined, I appreciate your encouragement and knowledge. I am happy to be dancing with you and so many others. Each unique, we move at the direction of the same instructor.
Jan, I'm delighted you stopped by to share your thoughts with me. I love your descriptions of nature and the meaningful things that inspire you. I'm a nature lover, too, and always so grateful for its seasonal beauty. Thanks again for visiting. I hope you'll be in touch with me soon.
Blessings,
Barbara
Years ago a close friend and I hiked all over the beautiful trails of the Portland, OR area. They were always day trips because we had young children, but those days when we were able to get away were golden. We carried hearty lunches in backpacks and probably took more rests than any bonafide outdoorswomen should, but I learned so much in those times about beauty and nature, birds and flowers, and about the worth of a good friendship. Now when I catch a glimpse of Indian Plum beginning to leaf out in brilliant spring green or when the delicate blossoms of the trillium poke up through mosses, I know spring is here. It's time to get outdoors again. It always reminds me of those treasured days when my friend and I explored the byways and trails of Oregon.
So glad you stopped by. You're an expert on this topic--I appreciate your kind words! Wish I could offer you a piece of that awesome wedding cake. It was like a vanilla buttercream frosting, and yellow cake with a hint of lemon. I've never tasted anything so divine!
Blessings!
Barbara
And beautiful thoughts. Thank you for sharing them!
