LIVING LETTERS

Letters from the Heart
Then the LORD replied: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.

                                                                                                                     Habakkuk 2:2  NIV

About a year after my accident in October 2003, the words Living Letters arrived softly in my heart like a tiny bird landing on a windowsill.  I remember saying aloud, "Living Letters?  What's that?"  It was months before I had a clue.  I tried to think about what the name could mean, but there were no answers.  Then finally, one day, I felt God was saying that His Word was His Living Letters to all of us.  That made sense to me, but I'd never thought of it that way.  I immediately thought of Paul's letters in the New Testament.

Not long after that whisper in my ear, ideas, Scriptures, and stories began to pour into this inspiration called Living Letters.  I know that God always finishes what he starts, so I waited.  Over the years, the file for Living Letters filled up, though the creative ideas for it seemed endless.  There comes a time when one must do what one is called to do.  I'm thrilled to say that Living Letters will be coming in 2010 for all of us who have special letters in our hearts to write.

Living Letters, a two-part seminar, is scheduled for two Saturday afternoons, March 13 and March 27th. We will set sail on a journey guided by Scripture, accompanied through the pages of our Living Letters Journal.  We'll navigate the Isles of Forgiveness, Gratitude, Tribute, and more.  We'll stop at other ports along the way to explore letters waiting to be written to loved ones and friends~those who are with us now, and those who have passed away.  We'll search for letters buried in our hearts that we can toss to the sea or send on a wave to bless someone.

If you have letters tucked in your heart you've been longing to write, please join us for this Living Letters seminar at the gracious and historic Carolina Inn, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. A classic, afternoon TEA will be served during the seminar in the Piedmont Room. Expect to find a treasure trove of fun and fellowship

To wish you well

Dear Barbara,

Even though I won't be able to attend your seminars in person, know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you. Letters have such power by God's Spirit to touch and heal. I just know that those who attend will be blessed.

Your sister in Christ,
Lois P.
